Antique Ebonised Wooden Bobbin Cross

An antique ebonised wooden cross with distinctive bobbin-turned detailing along the arms and stem. Originally this piece would have held a small figure of Christ at the centre, which is no longer present, giving the cross a more minimal sculptural form.

Mounted on a turned pedestal base, it works beautifully as a decorative object on a mantelpiece or shelf.  The aged finish and natural patina add depth and character.
