Hand-Carved Wooden Nude Figure, France

Vintage French hand-carved wooden sculpture of a nude female figure, dating to the early 20th century with subtle Art Deco influence. The figure is shown in a stretched, awakening pose, with arms extended behind her head.

Set on a small wooden block base, carved with the word “Réveil” (French for “Awakening”), which beautifully complements the subject and adds depth to the piece’s narrative. Signed to the reverse, E Dupont.

A characterful decorative piece, ideal for adding a sculptural touch to any space.
