Spanish Brutalist Birthing Stool

A beautifully handcarved solid wood tripod stool with a richly textured surface and an aged patina that reflects its history. Traditionally used as birthing stools, particularly in Spain, designed for ease of transport by midwives to home births due to their lightweight nature.  The natural variations in color and texture enhance its unique character, making it a distinctive addition to any space. The stool is in good vintage condition, with some signs of wear consistent with age, adding to its authenticity.
